Why is this The Best Party Dip? It’s easy to whip together, it’s quick, minimal ingredients, it can be made ahead of time, and it’s delicious! The perfect dip for any get-together.

Everyone loves this dip! It’s creamy and flavorful, the perfect dish to bring to a cookout, party and definitely for the 4th of July! This dip will disappear fast!

You can serve this party dip with tortilla chips, crackers, Fritos, potato chips, pita chips, or veggie sticks.

  • Electric hand mixer
  • Large mixing bowl
  •  Sour cream– or substitute Greek Yogurt
  • Cream cheese, room temperature 
  • Ranch seasoning– the 1 ounce dry dressing packet
  • Roasted red peppers, chopped- from a jar
  • Rotel– this is the canned diced tomatoes with green chilies in it
  • Seasonings-Paprika and chili powder
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded- or a pepper jack would be great

How to make it

Prepare the Ingredients:

  • Drain the can of Rotel and finely chop the roasted red peppers.

Whip the Cream Cheese Base:

  • Place the softened cream cheese in a large mixing bowl. Using an electric mixer, beat the cream cheese until light and fluffy.
  • Add the sour cream and continue mixing until fully combined.

Season the Mixture:

  • Sprinkle in the paprika, chili powder, and ranch seasoning. Beat again with the electric mixer until well blended.

Mix in the Remaining Ingredients:

  • Fold in the drained Rotel, roasted red peppers, and shredded cheddar cheese using a large spoon or spatula. Mix thoroughly to ensure even distribution.

Chill:

  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight, to allow the flavors to meld together.

Serve and Enjoy:

  • Serve chilled with tortilla chips, potato chips, Fritos, crackers, or veggie sticks. Enjoy!

    Ingredients
      

    • 1 cup sour cream
    • 8 ounces cream cheese room temperature
    • 1 ounce ranch seasoning
    • 1/2 cup roasted red peppers chopped
    • 1 can Rotel drained
    • 1 tsp paprika
    • 1 tsp chili powder
    • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded

    Instructions

    • Place the softened cream cheese to a large mixing bowl. Using an electric mixer, whisk the cream cheese until light and fluffy. Add in the sour cream and beat together until incorporated.
    • Next, sprinkle in the paprika, chili powder and ranch seasoning. Beat once more with the electric mixer until mixed together.
    • Then, add in the drained Rotel, roasted red peppers and cheddar cheese. Using a large spoon or spatula, mix everything well.
    • Cover the bowl and refrigerate at least 30 minutes, up to overnight night for the flavors to meld.
    • Serve with tortilla chips, potato chips, Fritos, crackers or veggie sticks and enjoy!
