Sparkling Apple Cider Sangria is a fall treat! I love apple cider so much- it has a deeper flavor than apple juice and it’s only available in the ‘ber months. That makes it extra special. I’m always thinking about recipes I can incorporate apple cider.
If you also love recipes using apple cider, try Apple Cider Baked Donuts or Slow Cooker Apple Cider Pork. Delicious!
You can easily make your own homemade apple cider in a crock pot! Get my recipe here.
I love to add caramel sauce with a cinnamon sugar rim to make this favorite drink a little fancy. You could totally skip the caramel, though.
This sangria would be perfect for Thanksgiving dinner or a Halloween party!

- Pitcher or punch bowl
- Prosecco or Champagne– you could also use white wine
- Amaretto– the smell of amaretto is Heavenly! You could also substitute brandy, bourbon, or even Fireball for a kick
- Apple cider – for the sangria and extra to freeze into cubes to chill the drink
- Club soda– for bubbles
- Apples
- Cinnamon sticks
- Caramel and cinnamon sugar for rim garnish (optional)
How to make it
Freeze apple cider in ice cube trays to chill. I love using molds like this to make it festive, but an ice cube tray works great! I like to use frozen cider so the sangria doesn’t get watered down with ice.
Pour the Prosecco, amaretto, apple cider and club soda into a pitcher or punch bowl. Mix.
Add sliced apples and cinnamon sticks. That’s it! So easy!
Place frozen apple cider cubes in the sangria to keep it cold.
Optional: Pour caramel on one dish and cinnamon sugar on to another dish.
Dip a glass rim into the caramel and then into the cinnamon sugar.
Fill with sangria. Garnish with apple slices and a cinnamon stick. Serve immediately.
