What you’ll need

  • A 7-8 quart size crock pot
  • Ham– 2-5 pounds. I’m using a little over 4 pounds which will serve 6 people.
  • Orange Marmalade– substitute apricot or peach jam
  • Mustard– Stone ground mustard is my favorite, but you can also use yellow mustard, dijon, brown mustard or honey mustard. Any mustard you have on hand will work!
  • Maple syrup– or use honey for sweetness
  • Seasonings– garlic powder, black pepper, onion powder.
  • Carving knife to easily slice the ham. These are so worth the investment, it makes carving meat a breeze. I personally own this electric knife and I LOVE it! So easy to use.

How to make Slow Cooker Glazed Ham

Score the ham. If it’s not already done for you, use a sharp knife and score the ham in a diamond pattern by cutting about 1/2 inch down in the fat or rind sides. Place the ham in the crock pot.

Prepare the glaze. To a bowl add the orange marmalade, mustard, maple syrup, and seasonings.

Microwave 30 seconds to 1 minute to melt the marmalade and make it easy to mix together.

Pour the glaze over the ham. Cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2 1/2 hours.

Carve. Let the ham rest on the cutting board for 10 minutes before carving. Serve with a side of mashed potatoes and your favorite veggie for an easy, comforting meal.

So juicy and delicious! Your family will love this recipe.
