- Sheet Pan
- Oven Safe Meat Thermometer- optional, but it ensures your meat won’t overcook. I have the Cosori Wireless Meat Thermometer and love it!
- 6-8 porkchops– about 1/2 inch thick. You can use thicker bone-in pork chops, just be sure to cook them to 145 degrees internally.
- 1/3 cup olive oil– you may need more for more or larger porkchops. Just measure thjis with your heart until it looks good. 🙂
- 1 ounce packet ranch dry mix
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
How to make it
Prepare the Marinade:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, ranch seasoning, paprika, garlic, and mustard until well combined.
Season the Pork Chops:
- Place the pork chops on a rimmed sheet pan. Evenly rub the olive oil mixture over each pork chop, ensuring they are fully coated. If you have more pork chops or they are larger, add more olive oil to accommodate, up to 1/2 cup olive oil total.
Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Marinate:
- Allow the pork chops to come to room temperature and marinate in the seasoning mixture while the oven preheats.
Insert Meat Thermometer (Optional):
- If you have an oven-safe meat thermometer, insert it into the thickest part of one pork chop. This will help you monitor the temperature and avoid overcooking.
Bake:
- Bake the pork chops for 15–20 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F. Be careful not to overbake.
Rest and Serve:
- Remove the pork chops from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes to retain their juices. Serve and enjoy!

Tips for Perfect Pork Chops
- Don’t Overcook: Use a meat thermometer to ensure the pork chops reach 145°F. Overcooking can quickly dry them out.
- Marinate for Extra Moisture: Let the pork chops marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight for deeper flavor and tenderness.
- Bring to Room Temperature: Allow the pork chops to sit at room temperature for 20–30 minutes before cooking. This ensures even cooking.
- Use a Baking Rack: Place the pork chops on a wire rack set over the sheet pan. This allows heat to circulate evenly around the meat.
- Rest After Cooking: Always let the pork chops rest for 5–10 minutes after baking. This helps redistribute the juices and keeps them moist.
