A little sweet, a little savory, this peach and cream cheese filling on a buttery cracker is the perfect addition to your Easter spread. I just love anything on a cracker! Let me warn you though, this little peachy concoction may look simple but it has big flavor and it will be hard to eat just one!

This creamy dip is made with pantry ingredients and comes together in ten minutes. Prepare a day or two ahead for easy holiday entertaining. Best of all, the filling can be used as a dip for any occasion all year!

Ingredients

  • Electric hand mixer
  • Cream cheese, softened
  • Peach jam, or substitute apricot
  • Prepared horseradish sauce– the kind in a squeeze bottle for sandwiches. Do not use just horseradish.
  • Seasonings– mustard powder, pepper
  • Fresh Parsley leaves for the carrot top
  • Crackers for serving– I like the longer butter crackers for this so you have more surface area to work on.

How to make Peach Jam Easter Appetizers

Add all ingredients, except the parsley leaves and crackers, to a mixing bowl and whip together until smooth.

Spoon the filling into a piping back or Ziploc bag with the corner cut off. Carefully pipe the filling on to a cracker. I like to start with the pointed end and go up to the fat end of the cracker. Pipe in a zig-zag pattern across the cracker gradually making it thicker so it resembles a carrot.

Top with a sprig of parsley and serve.

Notes

Make sure to use the horseradish sauce that comes in a bottle, not straight horseradish.
Prepare the filling a day or two ahead for easy holiday entertaining. Pipe on to the cracker just before serving.
Serve as a dip with crackers on the side instead of pipping the filling on the crackers.
Substitute apricot jam if you don’t have peach.
