Crock Pot Cheesy Tortellini
The whole family is going to love this easy weeknight Crock Pot Cheesy Tortellini dinner. It’s creamy, rich and hearty, made with tortellini, cream cheese, meat sauce and spinach.

If your family does a weekly pasta night, you’ll definitely want to add this hearty tortellini to your rotation. It’s so easy with simple ingredients like frozen tortellini, ground beef, pasta sauce, cream cheese to make it extra creamy and spinach (for good measure ;))
My husband calls it the creamy greenie tortellini dinner.

What you’ll need
- Crock Pot
- 36 ounce bag frozen tortellini
- Fresh spinach- can also use frozen/thawed spinach
- Cream cheese, softened and cut into cubes
- Lean ground beef
- Spaghetti sauce- your favorite or make it yourself, you’ll need about 24 ounces
- Chicken broth
- Onion and garlic
- Seasonings- salt, pepper, Italian Seasoning
- Shredded mozzarella cheese- if you shred it yourself it tastes better!
How to make it
First , prepare the meat sauce: Add the ground beef to a medium sized skillet with thew onion and garlic.
Cook the ground beef with the onion and garlic over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink. (Drain meat if necessary.)
Season with salt and pepper to taste and add in the Italian seasoning. Pour the spaghetti sauce into the beef mixture and mix everything together.
Once the meat sauce is cooked, add the frozen tortellini in to the crock pot and pour in the meat sauce and chicken broth.
Cut the cream cheese into pieces and place the cubes on top. Cover and cook on low 4 hours or on high for 2 hours.
Sprinkle in the shredded mozzarella cheese and spinach and stir until well combined.
Serve with grated Parmesan cheese.

- 2 cloves garlic minced
- Salt to taste

- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Looks delicious! Can this be made as a freezer meal?
yes, you can add all of the ingredients (minus the spinach) to a freezer bag and then cook from frozen once you’re ready, or thaw in the fridge for 24 hours first. If cooking from frozen you’ll add about an hour of extra cook time. Hope his helps!
