Air Fryer Hoisin Salmon
This is my go to way to make salmon. Air Fryer Hoisin Salmon is easy and quick, making it a perfect weeknight option. The air fryer makes the salmon crispy, juicy, and flaky and the sauce is so flavorful. You can pair this salmon with any veggie you like; today I’m adding air fried brusselsprouts and serving over rice for a well rounded, healthy dinner.

What you’ll need
- 4-6 quart air fryer. If you are in the market for an air fryer I absolutely love my Cosori TurboDeluxe. I use it almost every day!
- 1-3 pounds of salmon filet– I’m using 12 ounces of salmon which feeds 2 people. Double the salmon for 4 servings. I use skinless salmon, you can leave the skin on, if you prefer. If the salmon is frozen, make sure to thaw it first.
- 1 pound brusselsprouts– cleaned and cut in half. Or use your favorite vegetable. Carrots, green beans, broccoli, or zucchini would all be great substitutes for the brusselsprouts.
- Olive oil or avocado oil
- Hoisin sauce– or use teriyaki sauce
- Soy sauce– I always use the low sodium. You can use coconut aminos instead.
- Sesame oil– a little goes a long way!
- Garlic
- Seasonings-black pepper, garlic powder

How to make it
Start with the brusselsprouts. Make sure they are cleaned, trimmed, and cut in half.
Add the brusselsprouts to a mixing bowl with the sesame oil, olive oil, soy sauce, and seasonings. Stir well to coat. Line the air fryer basket with the brusselsprouts, cut side down. Brush any remaining sauce over the brusselsprouts.
Air fry until soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, about 15 minutes.
That golden brown color! My favorite way to eat brusselsprouts is in the air fryer. It’s so quick too!
While the brusselsprouts are cooking, prepare the salmon. Cut your salmon filets into chunks. You can leave the filets whole, if you prefer.
Place the salmon in the same mixing bowl as you used before and add in the hoisin sauce, both oils, soy sauce, black pepper, and garlic. Toss to coat.
Place the salmon in the air fryer basket and air fry for about 10 minutes. We like to serve with rice.
The air fryer is my secret weapon for easy and delicious meals that are also healthy and super fast for a busy night.
