Air Fryer Chili Lime Shrimp
Tangy, spicy and juicy, Air Fryer Chili Lime Shrimp are super easy to make and taste delicious in a shrimp taco, over a bean and rice bowl, or enjoy accompanied with your favorite sides.
This post was sponsored, but all opinions are my own.
This shrimp dish is so easy! And it’s flavorful. You get the tang from the fresh lime juice, the heat from the chili pepper and red pepper flakes, and freshness from the cilantro.
It’s a lighter summer recipe and you can use the chili lime shrimp in so many ways, such as shrimp tacos with cabbage slaw, alongside corn on the cob and other cookout favorites, or even over a rice bowl with black beans, which is how I served them.

Air Fryer
I’m using the Cosori TurboBlaze Air Fryer.
Why I love this air fryer:
- It has 9 cook settings, so it replaces many small kitchen appliances
- It has a large 6 quart basket, but is small enough to sit on your counter full time.
- The basket and crisper plate are dishwasher safe, so it’s always easy clean up.
- It’s so user friendly, especially if you are new to air frying.
- It’s beautiful!
- I use my Cosori many times a week!

What you’ll need
- 1 pound raw jumbo shrimp, peeled, cleaned and deveined
- Fresh lime juice, plus zest and more to squeeze over the shrimp after cooking
- Olive oil or avocado
- Seasonings- chili powder, red pepper flakes, paprika, salt, pepper, garlic
- Fresh cilantro
How to make it
Thaw shrimp (if frozen), clean and devein. You can leave the tail on or off.
Add all ingredients to a ziploc bag. I love these bag holders for hands free meal prep! Shake well and refrigerate 30 minutes to marinate.
Select the preheat option on the air fryer and preheat for 4 minutes at 400°F.
Place shrimp in the air fryer basket in a single layer, careful not to crowd the basket, cook shrimp in batches if needed.
Cook at 400°F for 3-4 minutes (check for doneness at 3 minutes, you don’t want to over cook the shrimp)
Garnish cooked shrimp with additional seasonings to taste, a squeeze of lime juice over top and extra cilantro.
Serve chili lime shrimp alone, in a rice bowl with black beans, salsa, and avocado, or in shrimp tacos with cabbage slaw.
